Medical repatriation · patient transfer

Advanced medical transfer.

When the journey requires continuous monitoring, respiratory support, ongoing treatment or infusions, the configuration is built around the patient’s risk of deterioration.

Open a case

Illustrative environment — configuration defined by the patient, transport and applicable requirements.

01

You share the situation, the information available and the desired destination if known.

02

After clinical and logistical review, LevOne Aeris determines the proposed configuration: team, transport environment and continuity through handover.

01

Before transport

Deterioration risk, foreseeable interventions, treatment continuity, respiratory needs, patient access and contingency options throughout the journey.

02

A matched clinical team

Critical Care & Emergency Nurse (Belgian SIAMU specialization), physician and advanced medical team according to need. Monitoring, ventilation and infusion support are defined case by case.

03

From departure to clinical handover

Contact with the treating team, equipment and transport preparation, ground connections, care in transit and structured handover to the receiving facility.

04

Useful information

Recent clinical summary, treating-team contact, medication, monitoring needs, destination and receiving facility. Certificate / fit-to-fly, identity and assistance documents according to the transfer.

The appropriate solution is determined after review of the individual case, subject to clinical assessment, prescription, applicable regulation and transport environment.

First step

You do not need to have every answer already.

A first conversation is enough to open the case. The route, documents and level of support can be clarified afterwards through the appropriate channel.
